Our client seeks a Support Analyst to join their busy Helpdesk*Support team. As part of the helpdesk*support function you will provide support of Windows and Microsoft applications. You will have provided 1st*2nd line support for Windows and Microsoft applications, taking ownership of technical issues and solving them through to resolution.
You must have at least 2 yrs helpdesk*support experience and have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as Windows NT4*2000*2003*XP. You will also have extensive experience with configuration and troubleshooting and will be able to demonstrate an in-depth server and network understanding. This is a technical helpdesk role, so basic database administration is essential as is excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with staff at all levels.
Previous professional service background (e.g. legal, consulting, accounting) experience and knowledge of document management systems would be advantageous but not essential.
